Having fun with fabric sims - Fabric Elements by Visune

Had an absolute blast creating our newest sub-category on Visune. Elements combine multiple resources in one curated pack. The first set, Fabric Elements, is based around 10 fabric simulations, with an accompanying material pack and demo scenes.

Working with these models was joyous. It’s effortless to make renders look punchy, exciting and dynamic. I joined forces with Dan Valentine who kindly let me use his Blue Tarantula Runner for some of the promos.

This look super nice! I am hoping for the day Keyshot can implement a true fabric simulation. That would definitely open up a lot of opportunity for great product posing options that can be dynamic. While blender has a pretty good cloth simulation, I am loving how CLO/Marvelous designer works with soft material simulations. Just not quite sure how to animate it in CLO yet.

I personally don’t; I’m happy going elsewhere to sim fabric. In this case, we actually hired a motion designer to create the sims for us.

Pretty sure I’ve taken motion out of Marvelous Designer so you should be fine!
